Well got to drive and break in the motor. Unfortunately my steering rack is shot and leaking bad still. I did manage to find a reman one online and it's being shipped :). Can't wait to get that in and really get to drive. Feels good already at only 10psi. Can't wait to tune and crank it up again ;) Got the goods installed :) Thx again Thomas and the ecmlink crew for helping me out, you guys rock!

How did you mount your battery? I was trying to put mine down in that location and struggled to get a decent size battery down there without removing my throttle body elbow pipe. Then I never finished brainstorming how to create a good base for it without it sitting on the transmission, not to mention tieing it down.

I used the stock battery tray and two bolts and bolted right to the Frame. Once I tightened it down it bent it up alittle more so it sits 2-3 inches above the trans. So it won't be a issue. I'm using a skinny Honda battery. And it fits really tight in that spot. Even without the tie down it doesn't move. But I simple drilled two holes in my tray and used the tie down. It works im planning to make a smaller battery tray and smaller tie down to actaully fit the battery next. Then one day I plan to get a smaller one or Lithium! :) you can easliy get a small battey to sit sideways on the frame and that's what I plan to do next. I'll get more room once I install my fuel lab filter setup and move it.

Gvr4 is running good so far and feels even better. Got some tuning done yesterday and even did a launch at 4500 with alittle 2-step boost. Left really good I love the south bend clutch setup. I ran thru 3rd and had 16-17psi boost and saw 28lb/min. No knock and this is on 92 pump. Can't wait to up the boost and hit the track in 2 weeks :) more updates and a video soon. Thanks to all you Dsmtuners that helped me with parts and good deals! And special that's to Thomas and the ecmlink crew for helping me out with link to run in gvr4! going to be a really fun car.

My new trans should be shipping very shortly!! Brian's been slammed prepping some cars for the shootout oh ya! Lol I was able to scrounge up the last bit I needed to pay it off :) I can not wait! Brian's also got my 4bolt rear for the gvr4, going to get some work done to it before he sends it my way :)

Alright got word from Brian today that the trans is all ready and in its crate. He's just waiting for the shipping company to pick it up from his place :). Man I can not wait to get this installed. Going to be a huge improvement over the stocker. And a really nice complement to my engine ;) can't wait to hit the track and show you all what I've got going LOL. Shooting for mid-low 12's maybe even high 11's on the 14b. Im very confident I can do it when everything comes together. 20psi boost a good tune with aggressive timing map and a solid 1.7 60' or better and I should be there! Then it's time for my hx35 and to really have a beast haha ;) Brian also has my 4bolt rear and axles for the gvr4 and will be building them up next. Getting axels cryoed for sure and whatever else he suggest to do! Want to beef it up so I won't be worrying about it. Not fun to ship parts back and forth and not cheap LOL. Then I'll just need a upgraded t-case probably go 300m and should be a solid drineline to throw some power at! More soon! Aloha
