hey so while my car is down in the process of being rebuilt im thinking about doing an engine harness tuck. i came accross this on an evo forum and im wondering if dsms have the same set up pretty much when it comes to not actully having to cut wires up and such, ive never done a wire tuck or anything but i am confident that with the right tools i could do it just wondering if the layout is simmilar?

Heres ours and I did not have to do any wire cutting. Gives you some ideas you can do without going crazy.

in the driver side front corner there is a plastic part the wire loom runs through, you can get some slack there. evap can removed along with all the egr and emissions stuff, battery to trunk. I pulled the slack and mounted the fuse box down in the corner where the evap was. Had the wire loom all stripped down and rerouted, clumped up extra, new loom, injector wires ran up from the bottom of intake.

Everything but the spark wires, radiator/hoses and intake is on in that pic

Its been a long project, every bolts been off, cleaned, parts painted or replaced. Its all in my build profile discussion

so did you depin and unloom all the chassis harness to move the fuse box like that or did you just move it around to do that?

No I did not have to repin anything to do this.

Its just pulled up where the charcoal canister was and everything is in new wire loom, tucked up and hidden under the intake.

Next would be getting the map sensor adapter and relocating the spark coil assembly with custom wires to get rid of that whole mess between the intake and valve cover.

yea $17 ebay can LOL. It seems fine, airtight, drain on bottom, dont think its just gonna fall apart. We have -an fittings to go on the hose, just need to replace the barbed fittings the can came with.

I'm not sure how much it will actually help, I have the stm inspection hole breather adapter too thats why the line goes down from the valve cover theres a T there.

Wish these pictures still worked. I need some inspiration.
What is good and durable for wrapping the harness? I need experianced advice on a couple things. Harness is in great shape though.
