I just received a prothane insert for the front roll stopper, and it doesn't squish in snugly. The bottom lips on the insert prevent them from going in any further. I realize that there is a little space on each side of the mount normally, so are these inserts supposed to stick out 1/4" on each side? Obviously I didn't install it yet, I just wanna know if I should grind a little off the insert, or if they're supposed to be this way.

They dont sit flush and will sit out a little, at least they did with mine. I dont kike just the inserts as they really dont do much at all. The side ones are the best ones to swap and the front rears are just a waste. Or time and money. If you want it tighter then you can drill a small hole for a cable tie and loop it over to make it snug fit. Its the only option other then window weld im afraid!

Try spitting on it a little! :sneaky:

OK, so I put a 3/4" washer on each side after shaving off a little rubber from around the center hole, and I shaved a little from inside the bottom of the insert. Now it's a perfect fit. Nice and snug. Not sure why the prothane inserts don't include washers like the energy suspension kits do.
