I need information about the part number for the bracket/holder for OEM floor mats!!! My dealer can't find the part number for me, and I need it for my mats! It would be appreciated if anyone can help me...

Car is 1999 GST ECLIPSE

You ask that very curiously, as in you know something more about that particular number. :hmm:

To answer your question, I did. ;)

I know that the part is not available in ASA at all and that was the only other logical place that it could possibly be found. Omar asked me about this the other night so out of curiosity I sent an e-mail off to a Mitsu contact I have to see if he had an explanation as to why I can't find that part in ASA at all.

Glad you found it via Chrysler :thumb:

Edit: I'm going to edit my first post in this thread to clear up any confusion on the part numbers and different clips available.

I don't see it listed as "in stock", but it just comes up via a search..
I guess "in stock" wasn't the appropriate way to put it but things I know for sure that don't exist any longer on that site have a list price of N/A. So, since there's a price there and an "add to cart" option I'd try to order one and see if it shows up at the door.

I've definitely "ordered" parts from my usual company and had them come back after a few days saying the parts are no longer available. Worth a shot, but the parts sites usually don't update their info as often as they should.

Can you actually still get oem floor mats? I suppose beige is out of the question.

I purchased gray ones within the past few years with no issue. The beige ones for a '98+ Spyder are part number MR356644 if you want to check.

Regarding the ebay link mats, They specifically say they do not include the retention clip in the details.

Mine included the clip.

I'm just saying, if I ended up buying a set, and they don't include it, they don't have to send you one. Which would put me in the exact same spot I'm in now. I think I'm going to look for a late 98 or 99 carpet that uses the newer style clip and call it a day. That would seem like the cheaper option to me and I don't mind switching it out.

Anyone know if the Spyder and Hardtop use the same carpets?
