Ok i have searched and cant firgure it out. Doing a little painting and cleaning in the engine bay. The hard pipe that comes out of the water pump can it be removed without pullling the water pump? I just want to pull it paint it and put a new o ring in but cannot figure out how to pull it and im guessing the bolts for removal are on the water pump side.

Yes, it can be removed without removing the water pump. Just remove the bolt that holds it to the block, and remove the lower rad hose and smaller heater core line. Once it's free of those, it's just a matter of twisting and pulling to get it out. The only thing that really holds it in place is the one bolt to the block.

Thanks. Must have looked at that SOB for an hour trying to figure it out. Just went back out to the garage after reading your post and found the mount in half a second. couldn't see it under the pipe haha.
