Recently I noticed some slight bubbling from the exhaust manifold coming from the top second stud (from the radiator cap). I finally got purchased some OEM studs, washers, and nuts along with a Mr. Gasket exhaust manifold gasket. Saturday I was able to undo my turbo/manifold to swap the gasket, studs, and nuts. Once I took off the turbo assembly i noticed oil residue on the bottom portion of the existing gasket.
There's no pooled up oil or traces of wet oil on my exhaust ports. No oil on the exhaust manifold or turbo and IC pipes. I hope at most if anything it's just my valve seals. I've put everything back together and had to use an extra longer bolt with same thread size as the studs for one of the bottom studs (second one from the left). I was not able to torque that down. I'm waiting for parts to redo my turbo oil drain line, so I won't be able start the car to see if my work has fixed any of the original issues.
