My 2g gsx slide into a ditch and now I cant get out so im looking to tow it with my buddys truck. But I cant find any tow points. I would like to tow it from the front. Anyone have any ideas or know where the tow points are if they even have any? Pictures would help. Thanks!

Safest bet would be around each of the lower control arms, closest to the subframe. Straps would probably be best, but chains if that's all you have. Good luck getting it out.

Yeah I think that's your only option from the front. Hope it doesn't squish up ur bumper

What! I figured if it was anything like the 1g they would have put some on the front. But like everyone else said lower control arms and as tight to the frame as possible and don't goose it out more chances of ruining the arms or the frame

kinda hard to flatbed a car out of a ditch! but to get it out go slow and as stated above find something sturdy like the lca, don't yank it just go slow and steady and use straps if possible as chains could cause damage or pinching the lca.

Lmfao i love this what he meant to say was "i put my 2g into a ditch" the car did nothing wrong

awd stuck? pft how does that happen :D

Oh I know his 7 bolt likely crank walked the car into a ditch while he wasn't looking, it happens all the time ROFL.

No seriously op, take the front bumper off like stated earlier, and get it out slowly, using the two straps connected to each of the lca's, and coming out to the one line attached to your friends truck, and don't pull the car anymore then you need to to get it out of the ditch, hopefully you will be able to drive the gsx home on it's own power, and at the least inspect everything suspension wise and mechanically before going on your way... why? because you never know.

Haha my mom had got stuck last winter when i got my awd up and running i asked if she wanted pulled out she said if my suv cant get through this no way that little thing will (she was on a plowed area but slid into a bank) so i opened the barn and came driving through snow up to my hood and pulled her out she was so mad

I recently had to put my AWD 2g onto a flatbed and it was a PITA since there was now evident front tow hooks :/ didn't have a swap so we were able to manage by hooking it up on the rear subframe an as little jerking as possible.

Slap some mud and snows on that puppy and drive it out, LOL. Seriously, good luck!
