Looking at picking up a Brunswick pool table off of Criagslist. It's an older style but its for a good price.
The guy selling it claims that only a professional pool moving company is capable of moving it. This will cost an add'l $300-600. I'm not cheap but if it's something I can do myself, why would I pay someone?
I mean, if I can keep my DSMs going without going to a "professional" I feel like a buddy and I can dismantle and move a pool table with a pickup truck.
Anyone have some advice to share in regards to this?
Add'l info: the table is 8' by 4.5' and my truck bed is less than this, so I'll have to use a trailer for the slate(s). Aside from this, there doesn't seem to be any major issues with doing this by hand.
