I just wanted to show off this weekends detail work. Like a proud dad cramming pictures of his kid all over your Facebook wall.

So here we go. This is just a violently blatant, self promotional, stroke my ego, look at me post. It will also go into my build journal....but nobody got time fo' dat.

Still tons more work to do to get it to the level I really want it to be. I still have tons of parts sitting in my living room that are 100% smog killers (thanks Obama) so in a few weeks I should have a few more details added once I can get through my smog checks. Stay tuned!

PS- PLEASE feel free to drop your own engine bay porn under this thread. I literally look at 4g63 bays and have funny feeling in my pants.

Looks good. What's that red part separating your spark plug wires? Never seen that before.

You answered your own question within your own question. Lol

The red part SEPARATING the spark plug wires are in fact....drum roll please...wire separators!

Just some bling to replace my dried up and severely broken stock plastic wire separator routing thing.

Ebay find. Like 8 bucks. Many colors. Much billet.

Well, I knew what purpose they served, just never seen anyone use an aftermarket one.

You took the time to isolate the wires, but didn't pair them up properly. On a stock 2G, you should pair cylinders 1 and 4 together, and 2 and 3 together. Basically, 1 coil per cylinder pair.

You are correct. I will sort them proper when I get some new wires on.

Definitely not hating man. The bay looks great. There's probably enough separation there as is, but just thought I'd point it out

If you're going with a red theme, paint/powder coat the timing belt side motor mount, the engine lift bracket by the power steering pump, fuel rail. Polish that intake manifold a lil;)

Looks very clean

I have nothing to contribute as of now but nice bays!

I have the red FIC fuel rail and regulator sitting in my living room. Waiting after smog check to install.

I am going to use these TS billet black motor mounts too... They are a little pricey but I think they are better than any powdered coated job

A lil dirty but here's my 97 GSX: Rebuilt 6-bolt block & 2G head with FP2 cams. 600 miles and just switched to Speed Density.

Sick. Love the AN breather systems. Where did you mount your catch can. I don't plan on doing any "tucking". My fuse box and battery will stay in their homes just like on your ride.

The bay is so cramped I am struggling just to find a home for my 2 inch AFPRegulator.

Thanks bro! I like your setup as well! I mounted the catch can under the air filter.

This has been my bay for the last four years. She is torn apart again now so we shall see how it turns out this time.
