Ok got timing belt + related components now but what accessory belts do I need to get? My A/C doesn't work so if that's a separate belt I don't need that. Are Autozone belts worth getting?

Gates was the oem equipment on the 4g63 engine to being with. Yes I know everyone says it was mitsubishi but they bought all the time components from gates. Since it was bought in bulk they marked everything for mitsubishi many manufacturers still to this day buy their timing components from gates. Including mitsubishi

So, can anyone comment on this so I know what accessory belts to get?

Ok so I got everything I need for my timing belt job now. Should I have the rear main oil seal replaced too (as a precaution) being engine has 200k mi on it? How much labor cost should that ad?

Are there any other parts need replacing while there because although engine still runs good if something was to crap out later that requires labor intensive work I'd probably have to part-out the car but I'd rather run it as long as I can.

The rear main will add a LOT of labor. The transmission has to be removed to get to it.

So what seals are worth getting replaced with t-belt job, if any? Car has 200k mi (orig motor) but doesn't look like any seals have problems currently. Btw a DSM mechanic will be doing the t-belt job.

All seals on that side of the motor: Crank, cams, oil pump sprocket, etc.

I heard you the first time but then hotrodssnova said replacing rear main adds 'A Lot of labor' like having to remove transmission so that doesn't sound like reasonable preventative maintenance.

So let's start again, car has original motor with 200k and I'm going to a DSM mechanic with usual components needed for t-belt job in hand (belts, pulleys, tensioner + arm, waterpump).

To give some background on car: I wouldn't mind running it for awhile longer because it's decent - but it's not a great car either being FWD turbo with cheap mods, has all dented rims, paint issues, and most parts are 22+ years old now so it has suspension issues etc . I have no plans to correct everything either since I'm on a budget and one day most likely will part it out and buy another car in noticeably all around better condition.

So, based on all that what else should I get done while in there that doesn't cost a ton of extra money in labor and might be reasonable preventative maintenance for this situation? (Currently car doesn't have any seal issues)

Thanks!

Yiu were already given an answer, allseals on thst side. Cam, crank etc. Crank has two seals, front and rear. For this job you do front.

I agree that changing the REAR main seal is unnecessary when completing only a timing job. Your DSM mechanic will know what seals you should replace, so just let them handle that part.
