I have a boosted 420a 2g eclipse that the bought from a guy and it ran about 8 psi. I want more boost but i don't know if the engine will handle it. I've already pulled the engine. The guy said that supposedly the engine is built up a bit with cams and stuff but I don't know for sure. How can i tell how much boost my engine can handle without fully taking it apart and without blowing it to pieces? It's running a hahn stage 2 turbo kit, super 16g turbo (stock internal wastegate), upgraded injectors, pump, clutch, high volume fpr, and just a bunch of random mods. But what I don't know is the stuff internally. I want more boost! I know i will have to buy a manual boost controller.
Thanks for everyone's responses.

Not completely, stock ecu/wiring harness. I have a good idea but I'm pretty new to the turbo scene. I don't think fuel is an issue. I think its gonna be if my interals can even handle anything larger than 8psi. I don't want head bolts flying out my hood.
