Alright so i replaced my valve cover and it got me wondering if my cams are manual cams or auto cams (my cars auto) but it had a turbo elimination done to it/engine swap my question is ,
Is there a visual way to tell if you have manual or auto cams ? posting pics from my phone shortly of my (unkown cams) any input is helpful!

ps. ive been trying to find out via search but its all just people talking about how autos are better lower end and manuals are better higher end (rpm wise)

As promised

Not sure, but I wouldn't worry too much about any stock cam. They all feel kinda flat power wise. I recently went from a head that had fp2's in it to a head with stock cams and the power band is very different.... way more sluggish in the mid/upper rpm range than with even a mildly upgraded cam.

I'd start shopping for a bigger set if this is your concern. If your concern is only to identify your cams then I apologize.

Doing my timeing belt soon but idk if it's even worth checking what cams I have LOL was just wondering cause the po told me the person who blew the motor had the head rebuilt and threw in a nt bottom end which is the reason my laser is no longer a turbo laser LOL
but yeah I was just wondering if there's visual differences between nt an turbo cams cause my cars had a history so it's kinda unknown what's been done trans got rebuilt tho which explains why my cars StI'll got the original trans in it shifts like a king at 240000 km
