honestly dont have exact measurements, wheels/tires are back home (im 3 hours away at my university).
I believe they're 225/45/17's. They're BFG KDW Drag Radials on 2gb GSX wheels. I had to stop running them though last summer because the clutch was on its way out and would more prone to slipping with them. Otherwise I've just been using junk wal-mart douglas 205/50/16 all seasons which I managed a best of 1.7 60ft on when I ran 11.6@119.
New setup this year I'm pricing slicks & wheels now.

I've used the BFGs more on the street than the track and when I did they were pretty damn good.
Here's pictures of my car on the gsx wheels with the BFG drag radials

Any spacers needed? Options seems to be limited for 16" rims when it comes to drag radials/slicks, but I have a set of 2G 5 spokes and I need to figure something out for my 1G Auto because I just spin tires when I launch on my BFG Sport Comp 2 street tires.
I didn't add any spacers. I've noticed a Lil rubbing in the fender well. Nothing very bad though.

Mine aren't mounted yet :-( but here they are. Sticky...treadwear rating.........40  LOL.

Damn thats tight! And you dont hve issues turning the wheel or on compression?

...those are the rears and that's before the 10mm spacers, showing the clearance issues. My 245/45/17 RE760's have no problem clearing, the 245/45/17 Hoosiers don't though and require the spacer.

I had to lift my car with the coil overs because of the clearance problems I had with the DR's, turning the wheel was fine but hitting bumps would contact the edge of the fender in the rear.

I run 24.5s on a fwd trans and its perfect. So far up to 136mph traps the power band is right and room to grow.
Are you getting into 4th gear and if so at what point. Thanks

Dude that is one lean, clean ,mean machine right there:applause:

Didn't want to waste a new thread on this topic...anyone know what wheel specs are pictured? I know the tires are Nitto's 555r but I can't tell if they are 15's or 16's..any help on wheel dimensions/offset would be appreciated. I'm looking to replicate the poke on the rear :)

its a 14b, you run a 6466. Do you see the problem? His is done making power before yours even starts.
I know this is a 2 year old reply, but I spin up to 8500 and the 24.5s are still a perfect tire. 26s are to tall for the gearing.

heres my setup.
enkei rpf1 18x8 with a 35mm offset
nitto 555r 245/50/16 tire

planning on changing to a toyot proxes tq 255/50/16 once these are toast

I keep looking at all of these drooling LOL. I was contemplating going to a 15" bias ply but I think I might see how far I can take a radial with mine.

I guess I will hop in on this. 15" slips with 26" Hoosiers. My fronts clear everything but the rear needs spacers.
