I am getting ready to replace my manifold should I use new oem bolts that are like 10 a piece. Do I reuse old ones if they dont break. Which I have no problem paying if I need to. I also dont know if since my turbo is a 16g if I need a different size.

Bolts are not different from a 14b etc To a 16g if I remember correctly, also with theexperiences I've had with seized bolts I myself would replace them with new ones.

Ive reused mine no problems but got new washers. Make sure to use a high temp anti seize on the bolts. Should save you from breaking them. Also torque them to the correct spec and recheck after a few heat cycles. Buying all new is cheap insurance though so really the choice is yours.

+2. I don't know how many used bep housings I found for my HX40 that had bolts broken off in them. I am using new stuff AND anti-seize so it doesn't happen to my NEW bep housing. Think later down the road and you will realize you just should spend the few extra (cause everything costs at least $100 usually) dollars for less headaches down the line.

Manifold to turbo bolts? Yeah, get 4 new OEM bolts and the washers. Stock there is 3 bolts and a stud, replacing the stud with a bolt makes future removal much easier.

thanks guys I will prob just order new ones just to be safe. I plant to use original manifold nuts as well I guess there just nuts. I can replace them with any high grade nuts correct. Mani has a pinhole in it on the bottom I could of probably jb welded it but I said screw it and just bought a used mani.

Wait replace bolts with nuts..? I'm not sure what you're saying.

Purchase OEM hardware, extremepsi sells them. Look under the OEM section on the left.

I would purchase new ones to keep your old ones as spares. If your turbo to manifold seal fails, it can also take out the bolts as well. This happened on my last track day. Stick with OE fasteners as the ARP hardware does not hold up well for this application. You will also want to make sure you order at least a few extra conical washers as well. Nickel - based anti-sieze holds up really well for high heat applications. I always re-torque the bolts after a couple heat cycles. Make sure you re-torque after the car has cooled. I made the mistake of not letting the cool enough to re-torque the bolts, finding one of the heads was missing the next morning (was on ground after hitting the hood).

I am ordering new turbo bolts from extremepsi along with some other stuff. Thanks guys.
