Went to the dyno today for the first time after putting a base tune on my 2g GSX auto. We're running strictly off the waste gate. 20lbs of boost with a conservative tune the car made 270hp 225tq on a Dyna Jet . the FP Green is flowing 34lbs a min and injectors are at 50%duty cycle. Stock motor and tranny . All and all I'm very pleased with these numbers . Can't wait to build the motor and up the boost!!

What fuel? I know the auto eats up some power, but that still seems a little low.

no need to build the motor, just do fuel and exhaust mods and up the boost and you should make way more. Keep the stock cam so it spools the turbo the fastest, then go from there

The hp is a bit low and that could be because of the tune. However, tq numbers dont really seem to match up as its really down.

That seems really low. I would make sure if there is no boost leaks. Unless that motor is really hurting. I just made 397hp and 410 on 20g. You have more stuff to work with than me. Ran this setup for 2 years. Enough talking nonsense. Congrats on the the numbers. Only one way from there, UP :thumb:

You're also a manual, and FWD. Autos(not to mention AWD) have quite a bit more parasitic loss than an equal 5-speed, and I'll assume that wasn't 400whp on 20psi, on 91 octane.

Thats correct, the auto sucks up power. His results are pretty similar to another members recent dyno results with an auto billet 20g(similar to a green) also on a very conservative tune.

hows the lag with the fp green being ported? I've been thinking about going fp green this summer and running around 18psi for a fun daily (i know its low psi for a green but i would prefer to have a turbo that can handle way for then I'm willing to give it.)

is that a optima blue top in your car?

I understand that I was just saying that was low. Just saying what a 20g "could" do. No bashing or anything in my first post. Just love. Like I said earlier good luck with the build. Can only get better ;)

Still low power for the turbo, and the dyno. My fwd manual trans laser was making 230 whp on 91 octane at 17 psi on a Mustang dyno, on the 14b. Keep working on the tune...there is more in it.

Honestly I'd bet cash money that you wouldn't break 180awhp on an auto auto using the exact same setup. I think people are missing a few key details being all wheel drive, and automatic. This is about par for the course for a stock motor, green sized turbo auto AWD on a conservative 91 oct. tune.

@awesome not bad lag at all very streetable, Yes its a blue someone bought the wrong battery :banghead: LOL I got rid of it when i relocated to the trunk.

It is low for the green yes , we could advanced the timing more and optimize tuning a bit for the boost level sure. The auto eats more and its a stock motor with 118K I'm not trying to push it until it gets built.

Honestly, 118k is nothing. If compression checks out, and the maintenance is up to date and it doesn't smoke or miss...turn the boost up and let 'er eat. But, definitely can't argue with almost 300awhp as it's still a super fun daily. I've been debating breaking in my built 2.4, with an HTA Green as of lately, but still kind of deciding.

My car has over 325k on the stock motor. The last tune was the 14b at 22psi on C16. Getting ready to push it even harder. Compression is still in the upper 140s. Push it a little. Nothing wrong with pushing on the tune a little...Just don't try to set any records.
