Hi, my name is Andrew. I recently bought a 1996 Eclipse rs with the 420a motor and 5 speed tranny. I am completely new to dsm and fell in love with them after being in my brothers 1999 acura integra type r. I want to start from the ground up. I have 17" wheels and rims, lowered with cool air intake already. I eventually want to do a engine swap. I heard the 4G63-T 6 bolt motor is one option or the SRT-4. What motor swap should I consider? Thanks for any and all ideas and help.

If you do a 4g63 swap, it has to be from an Evo. The non-turbo 2g dsm's have motors mounted opposite of the 4g63t equipped dsm's.

I don't know much about the srt-4 swap, but ultimately the least expensive route would be to just save up and buy a 4g63t dsm.
