Yall know keltalon I like to keep things interesting. If you are a drive train guru maybe you can catch something in these videos that was brought to my attention as abnormal. I was contacted by someone who have a good bit of experience about transmission after seeing my track videos and suggested something to me that solved the problem as to why I am having traction issues all the way down the track and also why I am not pulling the times I should to equal my trap speed of 139mph. I am new to the track and dead set on getting better!
With that being said look at these videos and if you see or hear anything unusual please feel free to comment. I will eventually post what the issue was and what was done to fix it. Now the car is more amazing than all the time I have ever owned it. Pay pal prize will be sent by keltalon!

In the cock pit what seems unusual about this burn out? Also what's is unusual of the second burnout against the hellcat?

During this run do you hear the car spinning with slicks and do you think this is abnormal?

He is asking if you are running something like bead locks. He is implying your rim is spinning inside the tire.
Oh okay. Na that's not it , good try that mean some gurus are thinking and I must say the first guess I already have learned something new. Thanks.

Come on guys I wouldn't have started this thread if I didn't think it would benefit the forum. My problem would have just went on for years without and obvious symptoms. Sometimes we think something has to be in totally not working to be broken. Clue:D

I did nhra tech and ran a start line for 4 years, and from the video I am fairly confident that your slicks are spinning. Hell, a 400tq sbc can do that if the track prep is too tight

i think there is something wrong with your front diff . you should spin the tires evenly if you have a quafe front diff . you can see the car pull to one side when you do a burn out .

Not even an hour in my man you are the winner. Great observation! When I get back home I will post what I found. I the second video the car was spinning but only one tire was spinning same with the burnouts I had to use muscle to keep the car from going into the wall. John at tre noticed these things after sending him the videos just to let him see how well the tranny was holding up after almost 2 years of abuse.

He asked me was I experiencing torque steer and I told him yeah and progressively it was getting worse. This has been going on for about 8 months during an wot pull the car just couldn't decide whether it wanted to go right left straight it was all over the place I just assumed that with the power I was making that this was normal.

But John after looking at the videos said that it wasn't and for my safety pull the tranny and check out the diff. Pictures in a little bit pit. Congratulations pm me your PayPal address you got the answer correct with explanation.

Did you pull the Trans yet? Was the fluid fuqued? What was wrong with the front LSD? I blew my center diff once and ended up Shep stage 3 4 spyder.
Urban my friend you know keltalon work with urgency. The trans was pulled and problem fixed in 3 days. Had to wait on the machine shop to extract all five hex bolts. Bolts backed out of quaife on passenger side and when they backed out enough they broke at the tip. that's why only the driver side tire was doing all the spinning. as the bolts progressively back out the torque steer got progressively worse because the big gear in the center had to travel before it engaged the passenger side drive shaft. This explained the pull to the left to the right to the left because the spiral gears in the diff also was traveling.

Didn't effect any other pieces of the Trans right? Hope it was a cheap fix!
