So I have 2 lifters that won't bleed down as I roll the motor over and I'm wondering if this goes away after seeing oil pressure. I can put my cam in the position that will open the valves and in 15 minutes or so they will compress but when I roll the motor on over to let those valves close the lifter will "expand", holding my exhaust valve open. Is this a typical thing on these or what do you guys think? See my pictures and thanks, I don't want to install the engine if they are going to hang open. This is only on 2 lifters, the rest all bled down and are fine. ???

They will have some movement to them until they get some oil pressure and lock in place.

As long as they compress when installed, they will pump up into the spot they need to be once the engine runs and the oil pressure gets to them.

Thanks Dale! Not like my old school SBC's so I was worried. You are one of the people that I would trust to answer. Now I feel much better! :applause:
