I went to swap my manifold to turbo bolts out for arp stainless and the arps are about 2 washer widths too long... is this normal and should i just washer stock them?

If you would like some advice, go back to the OEM manifold bolts with a nickel-based anti-seize. I have had nothing but terrible luck with both the oxide and stainless versions. Though they look nice, the OEM really seem to hold up better. I am not saying that ARP fasteners are no good, I just would not use them for this application.
The previous poster is referring to the conical washers that are used on each bolt to prevent the bolts from loosening by providing constant pressure when installed correctly. Also be sure to re-torque them after a few heat cycles when cooled down.

The stainless arp bolts will snap when taking them out. However there non stainless bolts seem to have a great record and dont snap so my advice is to swap them to either non stainless arp or go oem like stated above! Ffwd connection does all the non stainless turbo bolts

hmmm maybe ill get stock bolts and washers from the link above... i only got the arp... well because they are arp

So 4 bolts and 8 washers correct?

Just had this issue. Put ARP turbo -> manifold bolts in with anti-seize... Virtual no miles on the car for 1 year, and just recently when trying to change the turbo -> manifold gasket, one of the bolts snapped off into the turbo exhaust housing, the others had to be heated in order to be removed. IMO these are more trouble than they're worth.
