Just wondering has anyone tried to order parts from this site; http://www.amayama.com/search/?q=MR369425

They're way cheaper then what people have been stating they are getting the knuckles for. I mean $360 beats $500...
Just wondering if I stumbled on a scam or something, because everyone seems to order from mitsumissile or something.
Any input about this site would be very helpful.
:)

Do you have to do the knuckles on 2g with that swap? fabricating a bracket wont suffice?

The knuckles are the best oem solution and of course best way to do it as the calipers sit in its correct location and its oem fitment and the full strength and upgrade possibility are there as then its an easy bolt on and aftermarket caliper brackets work well.

The adapters clock and off set the caliper and also in some cases bepending on the adapter needs working on and again depending on the version adaptor has been known to need gringing a section of the brembo caliper itself. The kmv ones i believe dont require that but do not make the caliper straight (clocked) plus you really dont want to use aftermarket caliper brackets on an exsisting bracket for safty reasons.

I don't believe that to be the case. As far as I know, any Brembo upgrade that uses a bracket requires removing some material from the caliper. Some setups require more material removed than others, but they all need some. If anyone has any evidence to the contrary, post it up.

By the way, RTM also manufactures and carries brackets for the Brembo upgrade, they just aren't yet in the webstore.

I was doing the Brembo upgrade on my GSX and had to remove material from the caliper.

Not too much, just enough for clearance.
The Evo 8/9 is a bit easier than the Evo 10 swap also. Josh

I know there are brackets for the Brembo calipers, but I wanted a cleaner set up.
I was just wondering if anyone has ever dealt with that website, because I've just seen people asking 500+ for both knuckles.
With the site that I posted i would be $453.80 so yea....I mean even if I save $50, its still $50

Have you checked the classified section for sale?
