Hello there! :)

How can you get the most HP out of an natural aspirated 1G DSM? Cold air intake, fuel injectors?

Tuuurrrrbbbooo s what he suggets go look around for partouts and grab everything turborlated oil pan, pistons, nock sensor , airintake , throttle body, water pipe, oil lines , coolent line, boost solnoid, exhaust manifold , waste gate acuator, ecu, injectors, intercooler , pipes and clamps ect.. off the top of my head

Hmm... So there's no other way? I'm fairly new to DSM engines and don't want to do anything crazy at the start haha.
 
N/A engines will need higher compression then stock. This creates the added power you seek. Better flowing exhaust after that, better timing curve and added fuel. Way cheaper to just throw a turbo on it and keep boost low. Check your plugs while tuning.

What would happen if you just smacked on a turbo and it's supporting components, but not the pistons and piston rings? And keeping the boost at about 2? Just gaining that little umf I'm looking for. I don't have the tools to pull out my motor to change the pistons and such, so that's the reason. (Bit of a newbie here)
