I recently purchased a 95 gsx from the original owner in awesome shape. I've driven it for a few weeks now and it ran like new. I went to do an oil change last night and apparently forgot to tighten down the drain plug, and today on my 35 mile commute the low oil indicator came on. I immediately pulled over and realized that I didn't tighten the drain plug, and tightened it down and topped off my oil and thought that would be that. Another 3 miles go by and the low oil light comes back on! I double check the filter/housing and drain plug and they are still tight so I started the car and the oil is just pouring from the front cover/oil pan area and my oil pressure sensor got broken off somehow in those few miles. What would cause this to happen? This car didn't leak a drop before I changed the oil and now it will just pours out until the oil level gets below the front cover/oil pan level. Would running a few miles with the oil low cause anything to instantly gush oil?
Thanks in advance for the help.
