I am sorry my account was locked since i havent been here in a while, so i had to post on here. But my issue is that i installed my Aeromotive FPR and removed the flexible ground wire that is connected from the intake manifold to the firewall. From what i read is that it connects the ground loop that is needed for the car to run well. I test drove the car after and when i turned my headlights on it my gauge needles acted funny and it seemed that it lost power, so i turned them off right the way and it ran fine again, when coming to a stop, it started hesitating and it shut off on me, i managed to get it inside the garage again. I will be re-installing ground wire from the intake mani to the firewall hoping it will fix the issue. I just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone, and if that fixed it? I am at my job and cant do much research, stock fuel pressure at idle with vaccum line connected is 43.5psi? If i remember correctly, i feel rusty im sorry its been a while. Thanks for your help.

Make sure you have a large cable from battery negative to the firewall and a separate one from battery negative to a starter mounting bolt. And make sure both ends of both are clean and tight. The flexible cable aids grounds for sensors and ignition. But headlights causing voltage loss is more likely a weak battery, alternator, or poor large cable connections.

Yeah i got the cables from the battery to the firewall and from the starter to the battery, they are tight and clean, never had this issue until i removed the ground between the intake mani and firewall, my only assumption is that it is causing the abnormal surge and electrical reactions. Also i got my slim fans wired with my headlights switch provisionary until i get a relay which i think also drew more power.

Fans on headlight switch (or even headlight relay) is not good. They definately should have their own relay.
Yeah, i will get that relay asap, i dont drive the car right now in the winter but i will make sure to put a relay before using it again.
