Well, It's been two years since I started to tear down my 91 TSI AWD for a complete color change. Rust hole after rust hole underneath the side skirts, broken bolt after broken bolt, It's finally starting to come together and let me tell you it was a major PITA.

Nice I just got my body where I want to body work and all rattle canned now but ready for paint next year going with wicked white from the evo good job, ill be doing my jambs as well.

Good luck man, It's a lot of work! Why didn't you just paint it instead of rattle canning it?

I wanted to make sure it was the best I could no place to paint, rattle looks really good its flat satin white, lot of work but I did worked all year on body work and such.

ok, what sucks is your going to have to take it all apart again and sand it all down, or at least scuff it.

Looks very nice though I'm slightly sad to see another champagne 1g bite the dust.

Oh nope just wet sand and prep bumper comes off spoilers in rear and doors later and hatch, fenders are staying on too many rusted bolts.

Thanks, I thought about re shooting it in champagne, but I just couldn't get myself to do it. Reminds me of an old Buick.

I hear ya on that one. I had to drill out an re-tap a bunch of broken bolts. I'm glad I took it all apart though. After removing the skirts I found a couple of base ball sized rust holes that I cut out and had a buddy weld in new sheet metal. Also, found a big rust hole under the fender.

I finished it up last summer and forgot to update. Well she's not completely finished, I still need to wet sand and buff her out, but I'll wait for warmer weather.

Still looks amazing love the pandas! Great job.
