OK so I've been away for a while doing repairs on my own and studying up on my 2Gspydr but I've hit a bump in the road where I just cant seem to figure out where to look to fix the problem. As of right now I have serious idling problems. I've tried a few things such as cleaned throttle body checked map sensor checked and cleaned IAC and still no results so the last resort was adjusting the BISS, which I know isn't the best thing to do at the moment but it put the idle speed back where its supposed to be, but since I tightened it the car catches alot better with the proper idle speed but the transmission knocks with the slightest amount of pressure to the throttle so tightening a BISS screw is not the route i want to take.So any assistance on this is appreciated.

OK so what's the best way to find the vacuum leak? And the BOV I will take a look at that.

do a boost leak test. there is a post on here hat shows how to build and use a boost leak tester. good luck.

OK so I've checked the BOV, I sealed the line running to the throttle body and nothing changed. If I'm not mistaken when I sealed that line wasnt there supposed some sort of change in the sound of the car since I'm cutting off a source of air? There was no difference at all. So I'm starting to think that the IAC & BOV. what's the chances I'd be right?

I always like to check simple things first. I once had a 90turbo awd that started choking just as the boost started coming on. I thought horrible thoughts as this was my first turbo vehicle. Turned out to be spark plug wires at end of life. New wires/ran great. Good luck!

blow off valves should be open at idle due to vaccum being pulled.
As stated above check for vacuum leaks.
If the vehicle is equipped with a Mass air flow sensor and there is (unmetered air) entering manifold the ecm will go wacko and increase injector pulse width to compensate for 02 sensors high oxygen readings causing a rich mixture.

I had 2 issues with idle when I first got my Spyder, just like the other members here are saying, do a boost leak test and source a 1g or aftermarket bov... These tow things combined with a new o2 sensor fixed my issues.
