Dropped the front subframe, popped the bushings out, did a quick once over with a wire brush to knock the rust off, and prepped for paint. Pulled all the motor mounts off, popped those bushings off as well, and prepped them for paint too. Got my brake pads in the mail so I officially have no reason to continue chasing things down the rabbit hole while I wait for parts.

I cussed to it as I turned the key and nothing happened! Had to take the truck to work, ugh! :( After I got home discovered that if I wiggle the gear shift (with clutch pedal depressed!) and hold the key in the start position then VOILA', she roars to life, need to find gear position sensor and adjust.

found out my hopefully last boost leak is my brand new PCV, also found out my wideband problem is low voltage.....then talked to my dsm and sternly told it to start behaving before I ship it off to boot camp for an attitude adjustment! :p

Replaced spark plugs and ordered some Accel plug wires.

Rebuilt the throttle body, boost leak test is good. Unfortunately I noticed my clutch was pre-loaded from the previous owner... oh well it needs an act 2600 anyways... time to order more parts ...

first cruised on the street since trading for this one
was very impressed, should be easy to sell!

did headlights and blower motor today, ahh heat feels good
trying to see how my slim fans are wired, on when I press the ac button, but popped the hood and they were off randomly, car off and back on then they came back on, hmmmmmmmmm

Made some new brake lines to replace the ones I broke while trying to replace my old rubber hoses. Finished painting the new calipers, motor mounts, front subframe and all front cross members. Looking forward to tomorrow and putting it all back together.

I haven't thought about my DSM in months. Now that I have a new DD I've been more focused on doing some small stuff to it so it's where I want.
I need to take the time to make a list of what the Talon needs to have done so I can gather everything and then put it back together.

Thanks, throttle feels more responsive without cruise control very nice. I ordered a new cooling system mishimoto rad with shroud/fans with oem thermostat, coolant temp sensor, and rad cap. Speed density mitsubishi bundle with plug n play cable. Innovate mtx-l wideband. Hope to have installed in a week or two.

Just pulled my starter....JUDAS PRIEST on a PONY! What a pain! On my way to town to get a new one.

OK, new starter is in! Actually was easier putting back in than taking out, go figure?

Also found oil in my upper IC pipe so I put a "catch can" on my PVC hose.

Installed the new e-brake cables, front and rear calipers/rotors, new power steering rack, new motor mounts and all other bushings for the front, changed eng/t-case/xmsn, diff oil, put in new coolant and brake fluid. Would have it off the stands if one of the new sway bar end links hadn't shown up with damage.

I installed a 2g maf and 560cc injectors
but still using stock intake pipe will change that sometime in the future
