Ok, so the car threw the po505 i know Its iac problem. I have replaced the iac twice first one was bad from the auto parts store and i have been constantly fixing leaks in my ic piping and am trying to figure out if it might be my setup for now or what. The car has a mic and hks ssqv bov , also the aem try-boost. any help would be great.

i did disconnect the battery and the bov is not recirculating due to not being able to find a pipe to fit the bov recirculating pipe to the intake. so its currently blocked off at the intake, will this become a problem?

i also took every vacuum line out and replaced them one by one to make sure they were not going to be a problem, also the negative vacuum reading that I'm getting for the tru-boost gauge and the actual vacuum gauge is the same which is negative 16-18

i can reinstall the recirculation kit but a question i have for you will a kink in the recirculating pipe be bad and at idle the car is sitting like i said at 16-18 and fluctuates between the idle sits fine at 950 and when i rev the car up the idle drops down below 500 and then rises up to 1500 and slowly drops back down to 950rpm

did a boost leak test and found a leak at the throttle body elbow and the actual idle screw was leaking air outta there like no other. so need to know if there is another way to seal the idle air screw other than teflon tape and any trick to make a better seal for the ic elbow at the throttle body would help greatly and would be much appreciated .

The vented bov is definitely to blame for your idle dropping down below 500 rpm after revving it. My talon did the same thing with my vented Greddy bov after I would rev it at idle or after shifts, whereas with the factory recirculated bov it didn't do that. If you MUST have your bov vented install a GM MAF in place of your oem mas

creative has been an understatement on the whole ic kit and just in general on this car lots of problems and lots of fixes and i which it was as easy as buying a quick tube to recirculate and call it a day if only you knew. but i will open your eyes to it, so recirculate setup from the bov is to intake. the bov outlet is 18mm in diameter and the inlet on the intake is 23mm. as for the tube running for this the bov is sitting about 2inches under the intake and the inlet to the intake is based to the passenger front tire of the car. so before making your remarks about its not hard bro get creative you might want to ask a couple of question yourself before shooting off a wise crack.

ok cool thanks for the reply, will be looking today at having the ic piping remade in shop to fix the aluminum junk pipes, and in this process i will be having the bov relocated and put in a better position
