Car looks great and really good work getting it all together but 18's are too big for the Talon wheel well. You need a rubber band tire to get the size right. Look at 2G Talons with Evo 9 Enkies and 245/40's Perfect!
I would have used 17's if i had plans to lower it. Sadly, i dont. So i wanted something to fill the space at stock ride height. I think it works out alright overall

looks awesome bud. gotta love the panda dsm scheme

Thanks man i appreciate it. I wouldve uploaded more pictures but they were too big so i'll have to work on that. I have an appointment saturday to get my windows tinted and should be throwing on some coilovers in a couple weeks to complete the look. I'm trying to get it perfect for import face off October 12th!

i rocked the panda scheme on my old TSI for a couple of years and i really miss it. i especially like the black rims with a chrome lip with the color combo but the rims in your post are sick. i had white plastidip rims but i think the darker color sets it off better. tints will also bring it home IMO. Regardless keep the scheme up.

Well Today was finally the day I made it to the dyno. Not gonna lie I was a little disappointed with the outcome but I know I should be happy with the numbers. It made 370hp and 325tq to the wheels. Was hoping for closer to 400 but the stock intake manifold and exhaust manifold proved to be too restricting for that, i'll probably add a SMIM on my to-do list in the next couple months but for now it should be very fun on the street!

Hey guys, not much to update but I'm going to be starting to throw some upgrades on in a couple weeks so I thought I'd show you the parts I have.
Winter upgrades will include:
-JMF Race SMIM
-S90 74mm TB
-Non-recirc FP 4" intake with 9" air fliter
-Tial BOV
-Speed density conversion
-Battery relocation to the trunk

Hoping this will push me over 400hp from the 370hp that I ended on the dyno at! I'll update with pics later when I start installing everything.

Hey guys, just wanted to update and show what the setup looks like installed. No major hiccups when putting everything together thankfully, and the 3" custom UICP I made worked awesome. I've only driven it around once just cruising to start tuning but i can already tell the throttle response is better. Still needs lots of tuning though.

Well guys its been a while but im back with some updates. Im happy to say shes been nothing but good to me and i was daily driving it up until october. I got an audi a4 to use as a winter beater/ daily so i can focus on taking care of a few things that have been bugging me.
This winter i plan on doing a full wire tuck, fusebox relocation, fp exhaust manifold, abs delete, 3g brake master upgrade and if i have the motivation and pateince i would love to pull the engine and respray the engine bay again.
Today i began the process with removing both fenders, the front bumper and labeling and disconnecting every wire in the engine bay. I'm admittedly moving slowly so that the process will hopefully go as smoothly as possible.
Anyway I have a few pictures from todays adventures that i'll share, and unfortunately i'll probably only have updates once a week or so but I'm taking my time.

Ecu harness is ready to come out!

Hey guys still keeping at it! As of right now, engine is on the stand and engine bay is in the process of getting stripped down in prep for paint. Then I'll be installing the 3g Master cylinder and non abs lines :D oh and I have some other goodies going in! I also got the knuckles to make the brembos a direct bolt on, should look super sexy behind those spokes of the TSW's and stop on a dime.

This picture doesn't do it justice, these things are huge! I'll get a comparison pic between the 2g rotors and calipers.

All those damn ABS lines! Goodbye!

Just realized how long it's been since I've updated this. Car has been back up and running for a while now. All seems to be good so I dropped it off to get a fresh dyno tune today so I will report back when I find out the actual whp numbers. Anyway here's a couple pics of the brembo setup and the new engine bay look.

Man, I was excited for this build until I saw another eclipse conversion. 2g talons Need that 97/98 bumper. Imo 2gb Front/Rear + 2ga Twisties side skirts = pure awesome. Side strakes really set it off as well.

I dont disagree with you but I decided to build what I like. :) thanks for stopping by man

No problem. It is a nice build so far. I just get more excited over talons.

I've got a 99 get now. But i'd love a mint un-molestered 2gb talon. Will find one one day.
