Engine is rebuilt, with very low miles, one of the very few things not replaced was the lifters. I just setup dsmlink, and started the car up to idle and verify timing. And this noise started, I THINK its just the lifters ticking by the sound of it, but I'd feel a lot better if someone who's heard it could chime in. Link to video of the noise:

What has me bugged is the sudden onset of the noise, and a nagging question of wondering if it could possibly be related to me making changes with link.

sounds like lifters but noise should go away . if noise doesn't go away after engine warms up then pull the valve cover and see which lifters are not pumped up.
