so i've had my talon for about a month now. It has a tubular manifold, hks bov, megan racing 3inch exhaust. Anyways, so today on my way to school getting on the highway I ran my car through 2nd to about 5k or 6k and all the sudden the car fell flat on its face. Every once in a while when i get into the higher rpms the car will start to studder a bit but has never just fell on its face like that. It would be a big help if i could get some advice on what to check out. Im thinking maybe its fuel cut or filed plugs or they need regapped but im new to dsms so im not quite sure. im thinking maybe with the cold air the little t25 was pushing a lot of air and the injectors didnt like it? im not too sure

It isnt fuel cut. Any time you think its fuel cut but youre not sure then it isnt. Fuel cut is HARD.
when it starts jerking at higher rpms it isnt too violent(which only happens sometimes). but when i thought i hit fuel cut on the highway earlier it was pretty hard. Actually, i was worried the front bumper was gonna hit the ground.

as far as i know im on stock ecu and tuning. ive only had this car for about a month now

Sounds like your car is sensing knock and then pulling timing back. Do you know what your base timing is set at? Do you have something to read knock with like a scan master? Could be a bad tune causing knock or maybe your base timing is set too high. If your car is bucking hard under acceleration then something is seriously wrong with your tune be it fuel or timing and i would avoid driving the car hard until you sort it out.

Well it is very mild bucking that doesn't start til like 5k and only happens every once in a while when I run it. I have no fuel mods that I'm aware of. I don't think this car has ever been tuned even

BLT?

What is the story on the fuel system components, as far as maintenance. If you believe you are still running stock/original filters, I would start with those first. Fuel and pump sock, then I would move to your injectors. Have them cleaned or replace them.

Usually, the first thing to slow you down when you started asking more of the stock setup is the pump. Could benefit from a rewire at least.

Hard to tell without more details...

Im running a stock t25 and stock boost. I just ordered a boost gauge, manual boost controller, 225 walbro pump, and the STM rewire kit. Do you guys think i should just put those parts on and see if the pump fixes it? And incase anyone questions my choice of mods im going off of buschur racings upgrade path as i live 5 mins from his shop
