Mechanical parts are normally what I look for. There's nothing much on criagslist for 1g parts. It's just starting to suck how you have to order online and wait for the mail to come.
Probably because the newest 1G is almost 21 years old.
Parts for these cars are EASY to find. You just have to pay a reasonable price for them. We have excellent aftermarket support. Try owning some other cars that you can't order anything for.
The only reason why dsm enthusiast still exist is because every time one surrenders, those parts get harvested to maintain the life of those who wont quit. Making DSM MASTERS!

QFT.
If you can't find 4G63 parts on Craigslist, you're living in a cave somewhere.
The bonus to waiting for parts is that you can shop around instead of setting whatever the part store has in-stock. I usually have a decent amount of OE seals that I grab whenever making orders at Extremepsi. I have also amassed a collection of parts I know are hard to find for when I need them. Having an extra DSM or two also is helpful.

You can buy aftermarket aluminum radiators for $100 shipped, and autozone has starters for less than that.Other than this site or ebay, I find it alittle tough. Parts are expensive or maybe im just cheap if I go to a auto part store.
Recently I needed a radiator and a starter and it was cheaper to purchase a parts car.
Most junkyard that are local or withing 100 miles don't even have any of these cars and if they do, the used parts are more then the new parts at the auto parts store.
Yes, but you replaced a 19 year old radiator with another 19 year old radiator. Junkyards, and parts cars aren't the way to fix a car. They are a way to collect cores for rebuilding, and a source for body, and interior parts.Considering I paid $300 for a entire car and made more than my money back and still got my parts. It was my best option.
There are many cars that are more exspensive price wise ( Parts ) but then again were getting into newer vehicle and you gotta pay to pay.
I just got lucky on my find
try owning a mk2 supra then tell me parts aren't around! Are just getting really hard to find?

I love it when people want to move on from dsm's. They then find out how much "real" car parts cost. Dsm's are the most inexpensive performance car to own and mod, period. Try getting into any other awd turbo coupe with pocket change.
I love suprastry owning a mk2 supra then tell me parts aren't around!
I can't even get basic maintenance things from the dealer anymore let alone stuff like alternators or trim pieces, and absolutely no after market support 10 years ago not a problem now there's no mk2's left in my area, and those of us left fight over parts...litterly.
Everything I get has to either come come states side or Japan...or is not possible to get.
Talon's are far far more common then you think yet, another ten years then I'd start to worry.
