I have a modded 1992 AWD turbo Laser. Twice two different parts suppliers sold me front rotors too large to fit w/ my calipers but my dust shields were oversized for my rotors. Just looked it up and seems till May 1992 the rotors were 255.6mm w/ single piston calipers and from June 1992 they switched to larger 276mm rotors w/ 2 piston calipers. Can anyone positively tell me that if I buy the 2 piston calipers and larger rotors again, will they bolt up to my spindles and carriers or are the spindles or carriers also different? The current small rotors do not last an entire trackday.

The information in my head is questionable after 20+ years but it's a small change in the diameter that reduces the travel of the pedal. Something like 15/16" on the 90 and 1" on the 91+.

In my 91 with stainless lines and stock master there is minimal movement of the pedal, the harder you press the more it brakes up to when the wheels lock. If your not wearing a belt you can visit the windshield.

Not enough mass for track days but I've never experience brake fade since swapping and event without the matching proportioning valve the balance seems good.
