Hey guys,
I'm from Guelph and new to the dsm world.
I have a 1996 eagle talon tsi. not currently in working cond. I'm in the middle of a head gasket, timing belt and just finished getting my turbo rebuilt. if all goes well want to be on the road by aug. :pray: so if any one is wanting to get together and swap skills. and info pm me.
 
yah dude im down i have a 97 and i JUST BOUGHT a EVO3 Big16G ,tublar turbo header and all the neccesary stuff to put it on so i'll have some pics for you along the way and we could show off our skills when we meet i'll send you a pm and a friend request keep up the good work man !!!

Hey guys im new to DSM's and just got myself a 99 Eclipse RS. Im from Windsor and figured id put up a quick post to say hi and see if there is more people from windsor on here and if people ever have any kind of meets in the area.
 
Hey everyone, from London Ontario here. I have a 93 Talon, 4g63 NT, 5 spd. Nothing big for mods, custom intake, 4-2-1 race header, 272/272 BC cams. Other than that its CLose to stock. I dont think its properly dialed in so Any advice or tips may help. Always lookin for rebuild parts, so if anyone has an extra head lying around taking up space lemmie know

We try to meet every tuesday across from best buy in the white oaks mall parkin lot along wellington.. Havnt had the best of luck so we're switching to saturdays.. Starting this Saturday. So anyone that can make it, London residents or not, PLEASE DO!!!!

Stonetalon - Hows that build coming along?
I blew my engine coming home from Calgary this summer (live in Richmond Hill) Just about finished the rebuild after getting parts and sorting out the funds. Can't wait to get it up and running this weekend :D
 
prices...less.. ya!.. i want an cat back exhaust with rolled manifold to start., a boost controler,. umm.. well everything i traded my 400+2g for a stock 91( but in mint shape 84K :shhh:,, so im starting over(again:applause:)
 
Are you guys doing the force power shoot out this year I was going to look into coming out for this year for the stock appearing class how much to register and are you hosting an event this summer if so please let me know the dates mark and pat thanks hope the blackbird is still kicking but I remember you guys won the dsm ohio shoot out for canada last year or the year before I've been to your shop lots of times you guys built my buddies car and did a hell of a good job on it I might add any how let me know if your hosting anything this year thanks again for your time and keep up the great work boys

-qualifing begins around noon


RULES & CLASSES.

STOCK APPEARING (SA) - 15.99 qualifier
Heads up class - pro tree
-any year DSM running a TD05H appearing turbo. FMIC's are ok, intake and
exhaust manifolds must be stock, full exhaust, no external wastegates, no
hacked bumper covers or any other exterior panels, full interior from front
seats forward, no nitrous.
Tires: FWD = any DOT
AWD = any DOT radial

SUPER STREET (SS) - 13.99 qualifier
Heads up class - pro tree
-no restriction on turbo size. Full exhaust, no hacked bumper covers or any
other exterior body panels, full interior from front seats forward, no
nitrous.
Tires: FWD = any
AWD = any DOT
*this class will have a breakout time of 11.49. If a (SS) car runs 11.49 or
quicker in a qualifying round, that car will be moved up to the (PS) class. If a
(SS) car runs 11.49 or quicker in an elimination round, that car will be
disqualified. This breakout time is to split the (SS) and (PS) classes and to
make for closer competition.

PRO STREET (PS) - 12.99 qualifier
Heads up class - pro tree
-this class is for the more heavily modified Super Street DSMs. This class will
also follow the exact same rules as the Super Street class.

BRACKET (B)
This is a handicapped start class.
-This class is for any DSM or other Mitsubishi powered vehicle.

** Trophies will be awarded for 1st & 2nd places in each class.

We haven't hosted this event for several years now. Not much interest from Canadians to race in competition.
Yes, Blackbird is alive and well. We were out countless times running the drag strip and also running circuit. Rarely ever see any other dsm's out, so race domestics most of the time.
 
Racing's racing right !! And you two always said seat time is what it's all about the more the better so there isn't many test and tunes down here so you might aswell go to where. The Racing's at so pm me next season and I'll come out :) ! I know it's far but I'd like to hit that track saw Jamie run it a while back that's good to here boys always was a fan of the black bird ;) and you two work hard to keep the rep it has I'm about to up date my profile and I'm about ready to turn mine over after a new motor install but I'm still looking for a late 2g. 97-99 AC bracket any how I'll see you guys on the tack will see how I do just small guy set up here tho LOL
