Update: New steering wheel setup!
Here you guys go, another update on the eclipse. Thanks to DSM_PWR for parting out his car and selling his killer setup to me. Glad to see that car will get another chance at life though. Im finishing up collecting the last few bits and pieces for the car and it should be started within a week or so. Let me know what you guys think, feedback is always good.

Update: ST Lowering springs
Since im in the process of modding both of my cars, i dont have the money i use to have to drop on parts. Thus, when it came to suspension i knew i had find an alternative since my last setup cost me $1350 (Feal coilvers). I decided to go with a spring/strut combo over coils because of the cost. These are going to be temporary as i save up from some real coils again. There wasn't too many reviews on these but for the price i picked these up i was willing to try them out. Hoping for similar results to Eibach prokit

Update: Steering Wheel Instal
Just wanted to make a quick video of how i installed my new setup on my car. Let me know what you guys think on how it looks. I should have an interesting video coming up pretty soon!

Kinda just skipped to the end but do you still have access to your 99? Might want to but the black interior from you. Sweet build but the way :hellyeah:

Haha noo 99 is long gone... And yeah, Im in the same boat as you. Ive been looking for some black interior for ages!

Update: New Parts Car!! RIP
The good thing about having an evo is that you have evo friends that hook it up. Such was the case when my buddy got into a fight with a tree with his car and lost. He hit me up first and asked him if i wanted it and i said yes! May we have a moment of silence please....

Update: K&N Air Filter and Evo update
Just giving you guys a heads up on a cheap K&N air filter that i found for sale. I didnt want to buy a used one because i dont know what it has been threw. Thus i was in the market for something affordable and effective. Boost on my friends

I dont have the exact part number but i posted a link on the video where i bought the filter from. Better hurry though because when i was on the phone with them last they told me they were clearing their inventory for these filters.

Any update on the ST lowering springs--pics of the drop?

Update: Struts, Hardware, o2 housing, and dyno date!
So the time has finally come to start putting this POS back together :D, its about to be its one year anniversary since its part out so i believe now would be the best time to start putting it back together. All my parts are at home waiting for me and ready to be installed. I have a dyno/tune day set for the 25th of march for both of my cars. I will be tuning the evo and 2g back to back and hoping for 400s on both of them (knock on wood) with any major problems. Expect more videos and i start piecing this thing back together and check out my other videos to see what new with the evo.

Update: Final Tune prep!
It's crunch time! I finally got my freaking ECU flashed by my tuner at RRE. In all honesty this car was ready to run last last summer on a different setup but i could never find the time to actually go when my tuner was available. So i parted the car out again and switched things up to what you currently see. Today should be the day this thing finally cranks over!

Good stuff--keep us posted!

So read through most of this and very nice build. Out of all the wheels you went through the gold ones are my favorite. Keep it up! Just out of curiosity what happens if you refuse a police officer from looking under your hood in Cali? Reality is you have the right to refuse search inside the car why is the engine bay different?

Those wheels were my favorite wheels as well man, i miss them everyday! However, they were also the most expensive item on my car so they helped pay off my evo when i parted the car out. I've been looking for another set for a while but no luck :(
As for the officer and the hood problem i really dont want to know what would have happen if i said no. I'd would probably get ref because that would imply that i am hiding something. And with the way cops have been acting up lately, i dont want to end up on the news.

UPDATE: Final Parts
It's finally a complete car again! Geez, i cant remember the last time i've seen it like this. Excitement is beyond what i imagine when i started putting this car back together. I'm just double checking everything over again before i turn the key. Dyno/Tune next week!!!

UPDATE: Dyno and Tune Number TWO (387hp/355tq)
Here you go fellow gear heads! You live and you learn, not the 400s i was aiming for but i got close. Back to the drawing board it is for me. Im just happy the car is back on the road once again and ready to hurt some feelings at the track. As always little problems came up that need attending so i need to start saving up again.

UPDATE: Kiggly Racing HLA
So here i am back at the drawing board thinking over what i can do to squeeze some more horsepower out of my setup. I've already set a plan a motion are things are starting to come in now. Now with more horse power comes more stress to your engine, so i also have to take into consideration what i can do to maintain reliability. I've read up on these HLA and i honestly don't know what i didn't do this sooner. So many benefits from this little bay boy, I'd recommend it to everyone on this site. Stay tuned for the setup

Thanks for allowing us to be involved in your build, and thanks for taking the time to put together a video for our HLA - very cool. If you need any more help, please do send us a note or give us a ring.

Thank you so much for your awesome product! I look forward to running more of your parts as my build gets more serious.

UPDATE: FP HTA68
Here's the major change to my setup Greasemonkeys! I actually had one of these turbos about 2 years ago with the intention of throwing it on my car but i got the evo instead. I didn't think i would get one of these again because of their price but i got this bad boy for a steal! With this turbo and some porting/polishing of the 2g head i should be in the 400s with ease. Super stoked to get this turbo in and getting retuned, just hope my drivetrain holds up now. Boost on my friends!

UPDATE: Evo III / RVR Intake Manifold
Schools out! Now it's time to start working on this bucket again. I figured since I'm porting and polishing the head that it would be a good time to help move that air as much as possible. I picked this bad boy up from a part out and it had everything i needed. I will be porting out the throttle body port to 60mm so that it can mate to my 1g TB perfectly. Hoping for some good results from this new setup!

Its been too long tuners! I thought i share something cool but not so DSM related. I just came back from a three week long vacation in Europe. During this vacation I set out to fulfill one of my bucket list item. I ran on the Nurburgring!! Given it was with a 100hp Ford Sport KA? (I've never heard of this car) I enjoyed every second of it. I managed to run a best time of 11min flat, I couldnt push it too hard because if i crashed this car i would have to pay like 5k. If only i have my evo or dsm with me that would have been something. Anyways here is track footage
