Finally got some time to take a break and work on the car.

I got my piston rings all laid out and I am plan on running 0.021" on the top and 0.028" in the second ring. But I can find little to NO information on addressing the gap for oil rails and oil support. In fact the only thing I found was that it should be 0.015" and the other thing said to NOT gap them at all....just slap them on.

Is that right?

What boost levels will you be running ? Are these stock or aftermarket rings ?

I went with .020 and .024, didn't touch the oil rings.

Here's enlarged directions from Wiseco Rings:

OEM specs are as follows:
Piston ring - DOHC - End Gap
No 1 Ring - .0098-.0157"
No 2 Ring - .0079-.0138"
Oil Ring - .0079-.0276"

Low 20s, maybe 25psi at the most on a 16g. These are Manley rings. How many miles on your block? National Speed Inc. did the motor. Fresh block, fresh crank. They messed it up REAL bad. The motor lasted 3 days, 120 miles. So I am redoing it. I found A LOT of sloppy work. The reused the inline turbo oil filter (from a blown motor) so it destroyed my BRAND new Holset HX40 (which is why I am back on the 16g). The motor wouldn't hold any compression. Checked the ring gaps and they had never been touched. It was 0.012-0.014" They literally just slapped the motor together.

So I ordered NEW piston rings from Manley, but it didn't have a sheet.[DOUBLEPOST=1416884408][/DOUBLEPOST]Found it. It's no less than 0.015" on both oil rails. No check for the spacer
