okay i own a 95 eclipse gs automatic non turbo i was cleaning my engine bay when i noticed this connector jus there behind the driver side headlight but i dont know what it connects to. does anyone know?


also i cant seem to find my horn! i checked close to the wheel but i see nothing also i cant find the two connections to it either

I have a 98 GS, and a friend of mine with his 97 GS both have that unused connector as well... Have all the options for GS (both of us), so we've guessed that the connector is just for an option that isn't included on that model, as Mitsu uses the same harnesses for multiple models...
 
Fog light or AC for sure.

If it were for the A/C I would think it would be on the passenger side with the A/C equipment... As to it being a fog light connector, as I had stated above both myself and a friend (98 and 97 GS respectively), we both have A/C and fog lights installed and still have this empty connector...
 
Then it is for the hood switch and is an open connection in vehicles without a factory theft-alarm system.
