I am in, Rhode_Island
Special thanks to Justin for the turbo rebuild and answering all my stupid questions!

This thing pulls 150 trap bikes pretty well on the highway. Should trap about 160 if i don't sell it first.

10psi with E85, small 16G, and a bunch of home brew fab work.

AHHHHHHH You freaking tease, where is the WOT videos?!?
I only have one GoPro vid...and although it doesn't paint the DSM community in a bad light, it probably won't work out very well here. This thread isnt going anywhere so...

Other bike has been 8.30 @ 165 with a built motor, this run was with a stock internals motor, so maybe a 155 trap bike. Rider is <150lbs and the bike is definitely a max effort setup, doesn't even have a kickstand.

I am curious also what you used to tune, I know you can use the ecu on the 07+ "which is what I ride " but that looks like an 04-05 style.

Takes some talent to fab that up! Very impressive!
I wonder how fast that turbine is spinning!

Thanks.

Can't be too fast, 10psi isn't really moving a lot of air.

I thought about doing something similar with my r6 but people were always saying " oooo it wont be much more if at all as powerful as a 1000. But regardless. Whatd you do for tuning and such?

I wouldn't do a 600 or a 750 with a stock motor on pump gas. On E85 you can keep the compression stock, throw boost at it, and go places.

To make power on pump you have to lower the compression. You can make 1000cc power with a stock motor and 93 octane, but at that point you're much better off with a 1000. Cheaper, more reliable, and likely faster.

I am curious also what you used to tune, I know you can use the ecu on the 07+ "which is what I ride " but that looks like an 04-05 style.

Tuning is PCIII USB, MAP Hub, GM 2-bar, Denso 565cc injectors, fuelab AFPR, and Walbro 255.

ECU / Timing is stock. If i had an 07 i'd be much better off.

I would guestimate about 220whp.

It did 60-130 in 4.10 on the VBox at 6psi, and it is a LOT faster on 10psi.

I don't know what the bike i raced in the video runs right now, but it's fast. I raced a different 1000 that does 9.2@147, and i had a pretty strong pull on him.

I couldn't even imagine....I think they go fast enough stock. Your just crazy! hahaha (in a good way)
Good job tho man, its a nice looking bike that's for sure.
I'm thinking I'm finally going to sell my 650R for a new 1000 sport touring.....shooting for a bmw 1000r but not sure as of yet.
