So its 40 degrees tonight and on my 10 mile drive to work I noticed my temp gauge was on zero? Between the two lines on the cold side......if the gauge went from 0-10. It was more like 3. In the pic id say that's a 4.5 where the needle is.

T-stat is either stuck open, low coolant level, or you got a cold t-stat installed.

That needle should be right next to the mid point mark for a 195* T-stat ... which our motors needs.

Check it with a logger, the gauge is probably not very accurate. Mine has never moved beyond half way while ecmmlink and my aftermarket gauge say otherwise.
