You have the odb1 port. So this one in particular won't work, and I'm not sure if they sell an adapter for it either.

$125?!? Thats a good start on link imo. Iirc, that odb1 ports are manufacturer specific. Post #15 is where the info is at. First link

Btw, does the elm 327 scan tool (usb) have the capability to be used as a logger?

I can use the logging features in torque, I just haven't yet figured out what desktop software to send the logs to. Once I find more I'll let you guys know.

I just got this adapter today, and I can say it works really well there's almost no delay between my tach, and torque's tach! This is amazing for the price, and with a 7 inch android tablet it's like have another dash!

Despite a few bad reviews on the ELM327, mine has worked perfectly with my phone and tablet.

It really beats buying a ~$100 code reader that doesn't even have all the features that Torque does.

For anyone with a 2g GSX using this:

What are your vehicle profile values?

One of them, called Boost Adjustment has a help icon that says mitsu EVOs have a 14.7 psi reading even when the engine is off so the app has to compensate. Do DSMs need to use this field?

As I said a bit back in the thread anymore wanting anything out side of the default values in the App is going to have the best luck just defining thier own customs PIDS...

I was using this app with a bluetooth adapter for a bit. Then I hooked up my safc and it doesnt read it anymore? The adapter doesnt recognize the ecu anymore... its probably from cutting and splicing in the mas wire on the safc, oh well

14.7 is one atmosphere. If you're running 10lbs and Torque tells you 24.7, turn that thing on. ;)

(I haven't seen it on my application, so forgive the basic answer)

i just ordered the elm one from ebay that was posted earlier... i can't get it to connect to the ecu on my 95 talon tsi.... anyone else have this problem? one red light comes on and thats it...

The cheap ELMs are hit or miss with Torque. There is an ELM specific toggle in the menus, but it still may come down to the adapter.

Hello......old thread but maybe someone can help.....Is there any special setting for the boost gauge? I have the mut add on but when I use it uthere is no reading on the boost gauge....any help is appreciated...I am using torque app

This is an older post... But I figured it would be good for reference.

If anyone is adding a Say a Omni 4 bar to log on the MDP on there 2g.

Rather then adding Request 38 and using the Formula of x*1.6334

You would want to add a custom PID at a038 and use the Formula of A*1.6334

I"m wondering if I can use it for a more in depth HUD! I could only imagine having the Tach on my windshield as well as my speed, and what ever nifty things like brights indicator, boost ect!!

Keep in mind that the Cheap BT adapters are only going to communicate Via ISO9142-2 and not going to have a very fast update rate.

Wouldn't hurt to try out any kind of other logging cables Via USB OTG (if your device supports it) you have around. If you want to try to do anything more than check codes or get a couple PID's a second to look at on the device your using live.

Some of the other ODB Adapters out there will support hybrid MUT protocols with other application or add on applications that speed up the polling rates.

Good app and feature. They also have a seperate plugin app mitsubishi specific that apps mitsubishi pids. Adds extra features for DSM's. I use daily on my 7"android tablet i installed in dash.

Check out this 360 degree Mitsubishi magnetic mount for your smartphone or tablet running Torque, which is an excellent tool for data logging and viewing real-time data from your DSM ECU. Regarding the specific question of manifold pressure, I find Torque Pro very accurate, as with all its readings. I use Torque Pro on my wife's 96 GST Spyder.
