Hey guys,

My Eclipse started to fuel cut in 1500 rpm. After 2 days, the check engine light comes one after installing a new fuel pump:

Threw this codes:

P0335 - crank position sensor malfunction
P1300 - "Ignition Timing adjustment Circuit Malfunction"

Ok, My engine is new, with new sensors and less than 3000 miles. After that i removed the ECU for a visual inspection. Plugged it back and the car start running ok for 20 seconds, and fuel cut started again in 1500 rpm. Check Engine light comes on, same errors, i cleaned with obd2. I just turned the key (to power on, not start the engine) and the RPM meter stopped in 3000 rpm! I turned on the car and he started working normally but with the Cooling Fan working full time (even if the car was cold), could it be ECU?

Ps: its a 95 GST

Mine used to do that when it got hot. Send it in to tom at ecmlink. Amazing turn around and great service. He can test and repair it.

This happened in a hot spring day here, my ecu turn the check engine light on at least 5 times on last summer. I am located in Brazil, so i need to find someone here to fix or buy a ecu in USA...

Did you install fuel pump correctly? Did you change fuel filter as well?

Yes, fuel pump its 100% now, i am gonna to change the fuel filter this week, but the radiator fan start 5 seconds after a cold start and keeps on always, doesnt matter if is cold or hot the engine.
