mitsubishikid that's great! I'm the same way, and I could never sell anything with my filth on it! I like to take pride in my furnishings, so I try to keep everything clean! I just bought a washer and dryer from a friend, and the lady and I were like why would you not clean it before selling it?
Hope I find something expensive lodged in one of them :D Never know what you have lost till you go looking for it, and once you sell it, it's gone for good!

Stripped out the feed line Allen Bolt from the oil filter housing. Great start to my morning LOL

Tossed a 420 gram stainless shift knob on ESi. Shifting doesn't feel any diff then non-weighted oem to me. Knob is smaller tho.

Received a package in the mail for the TSi. Evo 3 16g.

worked on wiring installed intake working on body work of the hood and knocking some dents down and prep to bondo sand and paint and clear, got stuff from powder coated went to TRE to check on transmission.

Removed battery, drained most of the coolant (80% water), removed tail lights to store indoors.
All that's left is to pop off the rear tires, push it into the backyard, put it up on blocks and oil the cylinders for winter.
It took a shit Aug 31, spent an hour on the side of the road trying to figure out why it died 3 seconds into fourth gear up a bridge on 19psi. Looks like I skipped a tooth on exhaust and am now advanced. Limped it *across* the city, pulling 18% fuel the entire way but still pulled 19inHg vac and response was fine. It just missed at hot idle intermittently, and under cruise below 2k rpm.. above, practically non-existent, and never stalled or wanted to. Fluids fine, started up instantly.
So.. I'm thinking it's probably ignition/eletrical, possibly the CAS, or the belt slipped enough to stick back on the exhaust cam just under 360 degrees of a shaft revolution, likely bending the exhaust valves in the process.

Though, I would expect my vac would suck ass and it would run like shit overall, not just rich and want to pull fuel, even though an unburnt mixture exiting prematurely would cause this... but shouldn't it be more than just 18% to get it back to 14.7?
I had this sort of inverse problem when I was accidentally running base timing at 0 (problem with timing light adjustment), except I had to add over 100us deadtime, and subtract/add maf compensation all over the place, just to get the numbers right.. guess I have some investimagating to do next year.

I'm not about to start it up to get the oil all warm to change it, so I'm storing it as-is for the winter and will do whatever to it next year. I'm done for this season.

Ripped out the rear interior & visors.

Pulled headliner.

Pulled felt & scrubbed off foam with wire brush.

Cleaned it up and put down 1 layer of carbon.[DOUBLEPOST=1414381801][/DOUBLEPOST]Pulled door panels and disassembled them.

Peeled off the nasty felt/foam from the inserts. Ready to overlay.

Added another layer of carbon to headliner.

Finally installed a 2G tranny in my Turbo Spyder, installing Greddy FMIC and 190lph Walbro fuel pump and boost gauge/leak tester. Need to put a few pieces back together but trans made it on flexplate/dowel pins perfect.

Broke a head bolt, through a ratchet, and called it a day.LOLROFL

Hahahahahaha, good times. I don't drink, but I can honestly say out of all the times I have been the most tempted to grab something alcoholic to drink, a majority have been caused by a DSM pissing me off.

Pulled the busted trans yesterday, (even on my day off i still end up turning wrenches) found a toasted pressure plate and throw out bearing and broken throw out bearing sleeve, got pissed, said i was gna junk it at the to of my lungs, and spent the rest of the day searchin for parts to fix it[DOUBLEPOST=1414665509][/DOUBLEPOST]

Lmao that sucks![DOUBLEPOST=1414665663][/DOUBLEPOST]
Niicee![DOUBLEPOST=1414382366][/DOUBLEPOST]Took my car out for another shake down after the clutch and oil pump swap. Yay no longer being a b*tch to me.... I though cars were always easier to deal with then woman, now I'm not so sure.
No, no they arent

Put another flood coat of epoxy on headliner.

Started doing overlay on door inserts. Put first layer of carbon on insert with spray adhesive. I'm amazed I got scrap plain weave to lay down/wrap around this part so perfectly. The twill top layer should lay down like a dream. :)

1.)I had clear coat peeling on the rear quarter panel, i sanded, and re-sprayed it.
2.)finally installed my rear drivers side mud flap that i bought to replace the one that was ripped off. (I've had it for a few months now)
3.) i pulled the carpet to start making my passenger side bracket for the recaro; After that i decided i did enough for the day.

I allowed it to go one more day without being pumped full of bullets, set on fire, driving it into the river or cutting it up into a million little throwing stars with a plasma cutter. you could say me and my bichie haven't had the best relationship lately
