My 97 gst has, idled weird for awhile now. Just got the car about a month ago replaced plugs, put a vibrant air filter in and thats about it for the mods. Been doing maintenance work for the most part the car is showing two CEL codes P1105 (barometric sensor) did some reading on that but it seems like it goes away after getting ecm link. Anyways the other code is my front o2 sensor needs replaing, just haven't been able to buy one unfortunately. My problem happens pretty frequent, seems like it only happens when the car is warm. Could this be caused by my bad o2 sensor?
*EDIT: Sorry for huge photos

Yes, In short your problem may be caused by the bad o2 sensor. If it seems like it only happens after the car has been running for a little while that would be when you car goes into open loop and when the o2 sensor would start doing its job, monitoring your a/f ratio and sending info to the ecu. Eliminate major problems first and work your way down. It would be a good idea to replace o2 sensor anyways since it provides crucial info for proper fuel delivery. It could be your maf if your getting a barro. code, or it could be caused by a vaccum leak. This helped my idle issues, http://www.dsm.org/how-tos/tttt/tttt3.html. But start with the obvious first.

If you just bought the car it might be a good idea to do a boost leak test. It's free and may even fix one of your problems. But definitely replace the o2 for sure asap!

it is your o2 90% sure whats happens is the o2 is showing your ecu what ever it is showing which is wrong for the tune of the car so the ecu is adding or cutting fuel to make up for it. by then the ecu sees that this is wronge and changes it back. then back and forth and so on. if you have link you should be able to see what your o2 is doing to your fuel. you should see the o2 reading with a fuel reading right after it trying to adjust to make up for it. I know im not being technical with the terms but you should get the idea. sorry been along day at work barely holding eyes open LOL
