Hey there,

I just bought a new center console for my 93 Eclipse, cause the previous owner jacked the other one up wrapping it in black duck tape and cutting pieces off and stuff, anyways, my new ( used) center console came in and I went to install it only to find that there is 2 green wires to hook up to the cigarette lighter, along with a black wire, and a yellow/black wire I think, I could not find ONE diagram to help me hook this up right. Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

the green wires are the acc (+)wires from the ignition it provides power to the lighter when you turn the key to the acc position check with a volt meter guessing black is ground and im not to sure about the black and yellow wire it could be for the light on the lighter socket < get a test light or a digital volt meter the green wires are usually +12v wires the other green one may be for the ashh tray light do you have pics? ill compare it to my 1g i had to fix my cig lighter socket like 3 days ago , do the wires have conectors on them? or are they cut, is it an automatic? autos have more wires for the economy and power as well as for the lights under the shifter (park, reverse...ect

Here's the cigarette lighter wiring diagram for a 1G.

Could always do what the previous owner of my talon did. An replace the cig lighter with a sweet push button start...

Yes I will take a pic here shortly and show you what it is looking like, the wires are cut, and its a manual trans, the 2 green wires are green/white stripe and green/black stripe,

Thank you for your help! :thumb:

If I'm seeing this right:
The 4-wire connector shows the following:

(0.85LW)Blue/White to the lighter (power), (0.85B)black from the lighter (ground).
(GW)Green/White to the light (power), (BW)black/yellow from the light (ground).
