The guy I bought the car from added the aftermarket BOV after the stock one broke. I told me it was setup as open atmosphere. I'm not sure how well you can see the setup from the picture, but what do I need to so to get it recirculating with the aftermarket air intake the way it is.

See that black pipe coming out of the intake after the mas? Show us where that is going. I don't know much about the 2Gs, but I do believe that is the recirculation input from bov[DOUBLEPOST=1413863017][/DOUBLEPOST]And you don't need to be that far zoomed in. Or close. Show us more of the area. The more we see. The more people here can help. They spot shit you wouldn't even believe. >D<

One option is to get the recirulating kit for that HKS:

https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=hks ssqv recirculation kit

If there is a plastic pipe where that HKS is plumbed into the intake, then sell the HKS and look for an EVO MR bypass valve. It will fit like the stock plastic one did, but hold PSI much better. The pipe hanging by the HKS bypass valve is where the bypass valve circulates air back into the intake.

It's an HKS SSQV (or a knockoff). They make a recirculation kit for them. Buy that kit and hook it up to the rubber intake snorkel using the stock portion of hose if you can. Otherwise, home depot spa hose would do the trick.

Here is a couple more pics[DOUBLEPOST=1413920133][/DOUBLEPOST]
That looks 100 percent like a knock off chinese built bov. I would buy a 1g bov, mod it and buy an adapter http://www.jmfabrications.com/store/products/2G{47}EVO-Blow-Off-Valve-Adapter.html

What are the benefits of the 1g BOV?

Wow that strut tower looks rusted to sh**. Is there a hole in it? I would look into repairing it.
Serious holes on both sides. I am currently reading everything on the site as far as repairs people have done. It really scares me,
I keep bouncing in my mind from fixing it, to selling the cAr and finding something else. Here are a coupo pictures of the cancer.
