I have no illusions of those kind of times.

Motor is out and car is at the paint shop getting the engine bay painted. Installing the drysump stuff on the motor now. Hope to be putting everything back in the car by next weekend.

New toys arriving daily!

Was hoping to dyno and test it and have it ready for the shootout but just didn't have the time so it will likely be after the shootout.

Where to begin, blew it all apart to paint the engine bay.

While it was apart decided it was time to put the drysump setup on the motor and try a better clutch option to make it launch more consistently.

And finally it was time to address my limited logging ability and add some flexibility, welcome the gold box.

Hope to have it setup and installed and finish the last of the small items needed to finish the car this month finally. Been a long road but I am ready to be back on the track.

Wow car looks great John. Quick question do you run an alternator? With the Magnus dry simp it looks like you couldn't run a rear mounted one. Can't wait to see what that magnus triple does :)

Yes alternator is back up front. Marco actually reccomends crank driving the pump so it could be mounted on the front of the block instead.

Looking good. That dry sump should be awesome! I noticed you have a launch control solenoid. How do you plan on controlling it? I installed one, but have yet to figure out what is going to control it.

Had it setup on a button on the steering wheel but think I may let the motec control it now.

I just looked up that motec, nice box. I wish aem's were more flexible, I'm trying to get it to control the solenoid. I bet you will have much better luck with the motec's flexibility, control and data recording capabilities.

The only complaint people usually have about Motec is price. It however always works and does some crazy stuff once you get into it. I will be putting a motec dash in the car too or a AIM will add even more capabilities.

*drool* this build is amazing, the detail and pictures are great. Are there any updates?

Hope to dyno and gave it at the track this week. New 26" slicks got here this week. Couple minor things to do and we will be making noise.

Thanks, last of the engine parts arrive at the machine shop this week. Should be full speed ahead soon!

It is alive again and nearly ready to hit the dyno
