my 91 lacer died last night it trow away all the engine oil wile on the street at 10psi of boost and blow a cloud of withe smoke i bring it home the oil filter was trowing a lot of engine oil and then it just died i tried to start it like 20 minutes later and it wont start and produces 0 vacuum .

Hey brother, it's unfortunate for your engine failure, but you need a little more info. Does the engine turn over? Not sure if you meant the oil filter was torn up? Or throwing oil out? First thing is find exactly where the engine is losing oil. Then fix it if it can be fixed. If not you might need a mechanic. Let us know more so we can help. Sometimes dsm's blow off boost hoses and lose vacuum. Good luck.

the car is stock and it will be a fun street car with a few trips to the track probably 4 days a year my goal for the future is to produce some were 280-350 hp nothing craze plus a 50 hp nitrous shot that will be used in berry rare like 2 or 3 times a year i think that with a stock rebuilt the engine will hold fine my power goals or I will need some thing like metallic gasket or wiseco pistons . My dad have a machine shop and we will do all the rebuilt and machine shop work so all the expenses will be for parts[DOUBLEPOST=1409160732][/DOUBLEPOST]dkalfop tanks for answer and yes the engine turn berry easily and it makes no vacuum and and it has no oill :( i think 98% that the engine is gone

There are 2 kinds of motor mounts, inserts that are "in addition to" your existing rubber internal mounts, and actual inserts where you have to cut out the existing rubber and metal sleeve in each piece. Choosing one or the other would depend on how terrible your existing ones are....

Rebuild is a good idea, clean up the head and rebuild and do all seals and gaskets. I have a completely stock and with cams and every thing else including DSMlink. I just dynoed the car at 380 whp which is a lot of horse power for a stock bottom. Don't cheap out and get everything done right. This forum is great and even though you don't know what everything is called don't be discouraged. Most of the guys here would help you just be humble and polite and the jerks can hate because you have the best colour for your dsm
