No spark, slow crank

Ok so I am trying to start up my new build for the first time and the car seems to be cranking really slow and I also have no spark. The battery and connections are good and I got the starter tested at autozone and that was also good. The car was originally an auto but I did a 5 speed swap and also changed the engine wiring harness with it. There is one plug that doesnt match up which is right next to where the ecu plugs in, I believe its the c67 plug? Would this plug give me no spark and or slow crank if not plugged in?
 
If you put in a newer or older engine. The wires are different so that could be your entire problem. Tell us your harness years and the vets can give you the perfect answer
 
Thanks for the help I actually started depinning them and just matched the colors but none of my wires match what was on the other forum. Both harnesses are out of a 91, one auto, the other manual. so on the interior harness side of the plug this is how the wires are set up

can anyone tell me what pins need to go where, the manual plug is going in the auto car so in the end ill be using the 14 pin connector which will have extra wires left over that means.. is this ok?
 
Make sure you aren't plugging one of the tcu plugs into the ecu. A manual ecu and auto ecu have the same plugs, and are physically interchangeable. All that's needed to get the car to run with a manual swap is to connect two wires in the engine bay of the auto harness to make the ecu think its in park, or neutral.

You do not need to de pin anything in the interior ecu harness.
 
I switched the engine wiring harness to a manual one so there is no tcu plugs. What are the two wires that need to be connected to make it think its in park in neutral, and could you show me a picture? But the car is cranking so I wouldnt think this is the problem? Also does anyone know what the plugs im describing are for then, i looked at the diagram and I think it is the c67 plug? Would any of these give me the issue im having with slow crank, no spark? any help would be appreciated thanks guys
 
The auto harness needs to have the p/n switch wires jumpered to let the starter crank, but you have a manual harness. Why did you swap to a manual harness? It's not needed to do a manual swap, and it's a pain in the butt to swap harnesses.

Slow cranking has nothing to do with the ecu pins, and is usually a low battery. Also under about 10v the ecu won't fire the plugs or injectors.

Can you take some pictures? It almost sounds like you have the plugs wrong.

When you turn the car on, does the check engine light come on, and the boost gauge go to zero?[DOUBLEPOST=1413869636][/DOUBLEPOST]Post number 4 should have some answers for you.

This is the old plug off the interior harness that i de pinned[DOUBLEPOST=1413931510][/DOUBLEPOST]I changed the harness becuase the one in the car was pretty mangled up, my boost gauge is not hooked up yet so I am not sure on that one, but the CEL does come in. The batteries im 95% positive are good becuase Ive also used one out of my other car and an optima yellow top out of my buddys car. The starter I got tested at autozone
 
Ok so i figured out why it was cranking slow, the clutch line didnt have enough fluid so it wasnt letting the starter turn. still wondering about that plug though if anyone knows? I need to know if this would give me no spark
