Switch wiring harness/ECU? 1G FWD GST

Hello All,

I have two cars. 91 GST Auto and a 93 GS Manual. I will be putting the 93 Tran (and engine) into the 91 GST. I have already got all the info on how to do the tran swap (from VFAQ drivetrain page) but I need a little more info on the wiring.

Will I have to locate a GST harness/ECU from a 5 speed car or can the one in the auto be used (if wired differently?)

The harness in the '91 could be made to work. The two things that need attention would be the neutral safety switch for the starting circuit and the wiring for the reverse lights. There is information for each of those here:

And, obviously, the '93 non-turbo engine will require the non-turbo ECU. If the intent is to keep it naturally aspirated, a injector resistor pack delete will also be necessary: NT ECU and NT Engine with Turbo Harness

Thank you for the information and the links to the harness info!
my plan is to use the stock turbo set up that is in the 91. the engine that is in the 93 is fully built w/low compression for a turbo set up...so therefore I would need a manual and turbo ECU right? or will the non turbo out of the 93 still work?
Sorry..Im new to the turbo scene...

Shouldn't have any problems using the auto's turbo ECU with the 13g, the auto's 390cc injectors, and the auto's fuel pressure regulator.
