Ah, the window tint thread. These threads are always subjective, and at times like in your case, I would be more worried about the legalities of it in your area. It truly is a personal preference. Mine has 5% on every window, and the entire front windshield has been 35% for years. I never understood the strip because, 95% of the time you're looking through the front windshield, not to mention why have 5% tint all the way around, when you leave the largest piece of glass untinted. So all of our cars are tinted 5% with the entire front windshield as well. I have only got one ticket in 16 years in mine over tint being too dark, and never in the other Mitsubishi's.(Yes, I've had my DSM since day one.) We also live in a pretty big city, so law enforcement is apparent, but just never bothersome with window tint.

Love the tint and the idea of 50% front and 5% back might work for me. Don't want to get a ticket.

I have limo on the small sides and back and about a 10" tint strip on the w/s and on the front windows I have 15% I think its perfect honestly. I dont have visors so the tint strip is perfect.

Damn you all rock 5% on rear? Can someone throw some pictures of the rear from inside the car @ day & night ? Interested in the 35% windshield 20% front and 15% back
