Hello

I have a question. Is the 4G67 1.8l the same block with the 4G63.
I want bore of 85.5 and used my head and the 4G63 crankshaft.

I want run 42 psi and around 1000 whp.
At the moment had the car 900 Whp now i want a little more ;)

The 4g67 has the same stroke, but a smaller bore. The 4g63 is a 85mm bore, the 4g67 is a 81.5mm bore. Basically same crank, but smaller bore.

If it the same block, it isnt a problem to bore 85,5 it. I`m a little bit frightend if bore bigger and a many boost.

My ols blocke 4G63 6 bolt have not a problem with this boost.
Some people says it is not the same block, because of this my question.

Did you read my reply, it isn't the same block, it is a smaller bore, and a slightly shorter deck height. You likely will not be able to bore it 4mm larger, that is quite a bit. I would just look for another 4g63 block.

4G67 EU bloc has the same deck height like the 6 bolt 4G63, he has also oil squirter and knock sensor.
Bore it to 85mm is not an problem but it need an torque plate for best results in my mind...
